Brandi Gore29 August 2025I was greeted on arrival by Rosemary, who is a wonderful person. Very personable and also professional. I spent 35 minutes face to face with Dr Torquato at my initial visit. He actually listened to me and put together a plan of action. I received written notes and a follow-up prior to leaving the office-- so I remember what the plan is. I appreciate that he listened and took time to develop a plan!! 8/28 update following second visit: I have nothing but positive comments on my follow up visit with Dr Torquato. Again, he listened and heard me then gave recommendations that match my health goals. I am averse to treating symptoms thus my goal is to uncover the basis for an issue, then resolving the underlying problem with lifestyle and dietary alterations. (they take extra time with clients when needed.) Rosemary, at first office on right, was so kind. She came out to meet me and let the Dr know I was there. My meeting with Dr. John Torquato was friendly, professional and I quickly felt at ease. He listened carefully, as he spoke I could tell he really understood my issues. Everything he mentioned, asked, and suggested was spot on. I finally felt that I was going to get on the right path to my personal health... one that I have been searching for a very, very long time. Miranda J16 August 2024Not impressed with fear mongering techniques and false information used by doctor to coerce patients to be vaccinated. Also office staff give inaccurate information about policies. We called ahead of time to see if he would be able to meet our needs and we were told yes absolutely. Doctor did not introduce himself and said two words or less with actual PT. Office looked like a tiny room no accommodations for children to stay occupied during their appointment. Not equip to deal with neurodivergent children or families. After I stated that we were given inaccurate information about what services he could provide he still had to keep preaching about vaccines and HIS opinions and not using factual information to educate but his fear mongering opinions. Not professional and continued to waste our time even after I stated why we were there and he established that he could not help us.Posted on Google

Donald Hanna15 February 2024Good Doctor. HORRIBLE medical assistant. She DOES NOT listen at all. They will cancel your appointment and still charge you the copay. One online appointment, the doctor never showed up. After 40 minutes, I gave up. I was charged $25 for "missing the appointment". The other appointment I was left in the parking lot for 45 minutes with my wife & newborn due to them being late. I was told it would be another hour. Since I didn't want to sit in a truck for 2 hours after appointment scheduled I was considered a "no show" for it. Charged $25 copay anways. Refused to refill my meds because I "missed my appointment". VERY DISHONEST. UNCARING. WILL LEAVE YOU WITHOUT NEEDED MEDICATION & BILL YOU FOR VISITS THAT THEY THEMSELVES CANCEL. Dr. Torquato is a specialist in lifestyle medicine and encourages his patients to make changes that can not only help us to live a healthier and more active lives, but to avoid pharmaceuticals whenever possible. As a plant based eater for years, it was refreshing to to have some supportive input. I now have more diet and lifestyle knowledge and tools to keep me on a great path without becoming a slave to big pharma. That is exactly what I wanted, and Dr. Torquato delivered. The highest praise I can possibly give any doctor, particularly when judged over time and not from just a few short interactions would be that they put their patient first. What a gross understatement that would be to lump John Torquato in such a small and dwindling group of doctors. The level of care provided here rivals that given to our president. It was like that when I was broke and couldn't give him a dollar and remains now that I carry excellent insurance. It I can't guarentee my wife won't get hit by an errant driver. I will never be able to remove every obstacle from my child's journey through life. But I know, not only through faith but long standing evidence, that no member of my family will ever want for better care. We make the hour drive to see him without a second thought.
